BAY CITY, Texas–Bay City Tribune readers have named TDECU as the Reader’s Choice recipient of the Best Credit Union award, while the CU also helped to sponsor the Gridiron Classic.
Opened in 2011, TDECU’s Bay City Member Center is currently led by Breann Ryman. “It’s an honor to be acknowledged by our community,” said Ryman. “Our employees are committed to helping our members achieve their financial dreams. Bay City is an amazing community to be a part of and we’re so honored that our community neighbors have chosen us for this award. TDECU Mortgage was also recognized as runner up for Best Mortgage Company in Bay City.
Separately, with Houston hosting the Super Bowl this year, TDECU helped to sponsor the Gridiron Classic. Started in 2010, the Gridiron Classic is a camp day full of fun, physical activities, aimed at teaching children the importance and enjoyment of remaining physically active. The Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County was able to send over 300 of their members to the camp thanks in part to TDECU. Many children in the club did not have transportation to Houston, so TDECU quickly stepped in and provided buses to take all 300 children to the camp and back home
