TDECU Helps in Recovery from Hurricane Laura

LAKE JACKSON, Texas–Employee volunteers from TDECU travelled to Orange, Texas, where members of the community are struggling to begin their recovery from Hurricane Laura.

At midday, TDECU set up in the parking lot of Lamar State College-Orange to begin distributing meals to those impacted by the recent storm, ultimately distributing 480 barbecue meals. In addition, TDECU made a donation to the United Way of Orange County to provide disaster relief services to the residents of that hard-hit community.

“Throughout TDECU’s history, we have been quick to respond to the needs of the community after a natural disaster,” said TDECU’s Josh Brian, VP Strategic Partnerships. “Our response to Hurricane Laura is no different. It was a pleasure to serve the residents of Orange, Texas, and we will continue to keep them in our thoughts.”
