LAKE JACKSON, Texas--TDECU has appointed Steven Murray as an Advisory Board Member to the organization’s Board of Directors.
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Primus Green Energy, Murray positioned the company as a global leader in small scale conversion of natural gas to methanol or gasoline. Prior to joining Primus Green Energy, Murray served as President of Avangard lnnovative, a disruptive force in the waste management market. Murray’s previous positions also include President of Direct Energy Residential – the largest deregulated retail energy company in North America – as well as Chief Operations Officer of a PE backed deregulated energy company. Murray also had a critical role in the turnaround of Shell Energy Services, a company marketing gas and electricity across the US to residential and commercial customers, the CU said.
