Summit CU Renews Partnership with Fund for Women

MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union has renewed its partnership with A Fund for Women. The pledged $15,000 will go toward supporting a community-based initiative called Earn-Save-Invest, which aims to fund Dane County nonprofits focusing on economic security for women and girls.

The donation is the second $15,000 gift from Summit and will help A Fund for Women continue to help local residents and community leaders understand the challenges women face with economic security, and to underwrite its efforts to invest in solutions, the credit union said.

“A Fund for Women is intent on advancing women’s economic empowerment in Dane County so all women can reach their full potential,” said Kim Sponem, CEO and president of Summit Credit Union. “Summit has a long history of helping build strong communities, and A Fund for Women has a proven track record encouraging local women to become financially stable through programs that work.  We are pleased to be a part of the process.”
