Suffolk FCU Raises $3,000 to Fight Breast Cancer

MEDFORD, N.Y.– Each year, Suffolk Federal and its members proudly support the LI2Day Breast Cancer Walk, a local nonprofit that raises awareness and funds for breast cancer and other cancer research, to benefit cancer sufferers, survivors, and their families, and to support organizations that are participating in such efforts.

This year, with a combined sponsorship donation and member fundraising efforts, Suffolk Federal has raised more than $3,000 for the cause. The ‘SFCU Crew’ also hit the pavement demonstrating Suffolk Federal’s true commitment to fighting breast cancer on Long Island.

“Suffolk Federal was extremely excited to once again be part of this year’s LI2Day Breast Cancer Walk,” said James Gallagher, VP-Credit Union Services, located at Suffolk Federal and LI2Day Advisory Council Member. “The tremendous generosity of Suffolk Federal’s members and the commitment from its staff is greatly appreciated. They truly go above and beyond to support Suffolk Federal’s fight against breast cancer.”

Members of Suffolk Federal can also continue to support the cause by signing up for Suffolk Federal’s LI2Day Free Checking Account, where cash-back rewards turn into LI2Day donations, making it easy to join the fight against Breast Cancer. At Suffolk Federal, we're banking on finding a cure.
