Students Complete Abound's Fin Ed Program

RADCLIFF, Ky. – Abound Credit Union’s financial education program was recently completed by 33 fifth graders at Ekron Elementary School. 

Abound’s financial education program leverages interactive and game-based learning to immerse students in real-life financial scenarios that focus on skill building and responsible decision making. This gamified resource features an engaging storyline, diverse cast of characters, and interactions & activities to teach students fundamental financial topics in a fun and engaging way, the CU said.

The Ekron Elementary fifth graders completed five Abound financial education modules with concentrations in both financial concepts and social-emotional learning skills that build toward better financial health.  

  • Lesson 1: Financial Decision Making 
  • Lesson 2: Spending and Saving 
  • Lesson 3: Income and Careers 
  • Lesson 4: Credit and Borrowing 
  • Lesson 5: Building Wealth
