St. Mary's Banks Supports FrontLinesNH

MANCHESTER, N.H. — St. Mary’s Bank has committed $25,000 to FrontLinesNH.org’s  Challenge Match, a collaborative effort by four New Hampshire hospitals to raise funds for COVID-19-related expenses such as personal protective equipment (PPE), offsite surge care areas, and staff support.

“Healthcare workers make sacrifices every day to keep us safe,” said Ronald Covey, St. Mary’s Bank president and CEO. “We are giving back to help protect and prepare our heroes for the road ahead. We encourage everyone who can to join us in supporting FrontLinesNH’s fundraiser. Our challenge-match gift will make yours go even further right now. ”

Thanks to contributions from St. Mary’s Bank and other corporate donors, gifts of up to $2,500 made through the organization and through donor-advised funds are being matched dollar-for-dollar, for the first $70,000 donated.

Normally competitors, Catholic Medical Center, Elliot Hospital, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, and St. Joseph Hospital have been working side-by-side to share resources and talent and to collaborate on preparations for the expected COVID-19 surge. FrontLinesNH.org tells the story of that ongoing collaboration on its website and offers the public the opportunity to support one or all four institutions and their staff.
