St. Mary's Bank Named CU of Year by SBA

MANCHESTER, N.H. — St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, was honored to receive the 2019 Credit Union of the Year award from the New Hampshire District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration at the organization’s 2019 annual meeting.

The award recognizes St. Mary’s Bank for its exceptional commitment to SBA loan programs and for originating the most 7a (working capital) and 504 (property and equipment) loans of any credit union in New Hampshire.

“We are proud to be recognized by the SBA for our high level of commitment to small business,” said Janet Raymond, St. Mary’s Bank EVP/CLO. “Helping business owners succeed is a priority for St. Mary’s Bank, and we are thrilled that we could offer assistance to so many in 2019. We want small business owners and entrepreneurs to know that we are here for them not just when it comes to capital needs, but also as a resource and a trusted advisor. When small businesses thrive, we all benefit, in terms of a stronger economy and a stronger community. ”
