MANCHESTER, N.H.– St. Mary’s Bank has awarded $10,000 in scholarships for the 2018–2019 academic year. The credit union held a reception at its McGregor Street headquarters to recognize the 10 recipients who each received $1,000.
St. Mary’s Bank received 125 applications, and the selection committee chose student-members who displayed their passion for academic pursuits, their chosen career paths, and volunteer work within their communities.
“We’re honored to help our members who are graduating high school or already enrolled in college continue their education,” comments Ken Senus, Chief Operating Officer at St. Mary’s Bank. “Our scholarship program is one way we live out the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”
