ST. CLOUD, Minn.–St. Cloud FCU has become the new sponsor of the City of Sartell’sPinecone Central Park Field. As a predominant field sponsor, the credit union said it becomes an important partner for the Pinecone Central Park Association to fulfill its vision.
“We could not be more excited,” said Pinecone Central Park Association Board President Mike Spanier. “St. Cloud Federal Credit Union’s field sponsorship ensures the already promising future for the Park as we enter into our busiest summer yet - with soccer, lacrosse, and baseball fields all in full use, and a great series of music and movie events planned for the summer months. The strong support of all of our Park sponsors is what allows us to serve the entire community.”
In 2010 a group of volunteers formed the Pinecone Central Park Association to create a community recreational area for Sartell. The purpose was to build a variety of recreational uses ranging from the sporting leagues to walking trails to the recent addition of the dog park. The sense of community created by such an investment is what attracted St. Cloud Federal Credit Union to the project.

This sponsorship is the last youth baseball field to be sponsored and will aid the Association in their biggest operational year since the fields were open.
