Spitzer Hired as VP of Retail Lending for Redwood CU

SANTA ROSA, Calif.–Allison Spitzer has been hired as vice president of retail lending for Redwood Credit Union. In her new role, she will oversee mortgage, consumer, and construction lending. Prior to joining RCU, Spitzer worked for nearly 18 years at Bank of Marin in their lending and credit administration department. “Allison brings several skillsets in areas of growth for Redwood Credit Union,” says Diane Berthinier, senior vice president of lending. “As we work with our communities to help people realize their dreams of home ownership, I know Allison will be a great asset to our team.” Spitzer has a bachelor’s degree from Sonoma State University in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting and she’s a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. She serves on the board of directors for two local organizations: Sonoma County Alliance, and Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County (as vice president of the board).
