LOS ALAMITOS, Calif.–Southland Credit Union has won five MACQUEE Awards from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions.
Southland won a gold award in the Product Development category for its Southland Jr. Savers Accounts. Kids ages two to 12 can open a Southland Jr. Savers Account with a $5 deposit and learn how to save and manage money at a young age.
It won asilver award from a new category, Culture/Internal Branding, which was given to Southland Credit Union’s rebranding efforts in 2018.
The new Southland Credit Union logo won a bronze award in the Logos category.
The credit union won a bronze award in the Community Engagement category for Project GO Kart, a fundraising campaign supported by donations from Southland Associates and members that funded the creation and deliver of hospital-grade video game console carts to CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange County.
Southland Credit Union’s magazine, Southland Times, also won for a second year in a row with a bronze award in the Newsletters category.
