REDONDO BEACH, Calif.–South Bay Credit Union recently held a grand opening for its relocated North Redondo Beach branch.
South Bay Credit Union President and CEO Jennifer Oliver, board members, and employees were joined by representatives from the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce for the ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of the branch at 2023 Artesia Blvd., just 0.3 miles away and a quick six-minute walk from where its old location and operation center were housed for 45 years.
As part of the grand opening celebration, South Bay CU held a successful blood drive to benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
“We are thankful for all the support we receive in the community and felt we should pay it forward,” Oliver said. “The blood drive was a success and built reserves that potentially processed into blood and blood components that can save a number of lives.”
