WICHITA, Kan.–– Skyward Credit Union has announced the winners of the inaugural Aim Higher Scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year. Four undergraduates were selected by committee from an application pool of over seventy. Each winner will receive an award of $1,000 to support their education.
2017-2018 Aim Higher Scholarship Recipients
- Logan Albers of Wichita, Kan., studying Political Science & Economics at the University of Kansas
- Braeden Cooper of Derby, Kan., studying Athletic Training at Harding University
- Hanah Denning of Wichita, Kan., studying Biomedical Engineering at Wichita State University
- Drew Stover of Neodesha, Kan., studying Biology/Pre-Optometry at Kansas State University
The Aim Higher Scholarship was developed to encourage and support higher education for members of Skyward Credit Union. Applicants were anonymously selected based on grade point average, community involvement, and an essay on the value of financial education
