TYLER, Texas--Hope Sharrock has been named as Cooperative Teachers Credit Union’s new accounting manager.
The executive search was conducted by Credit Union Resources, Inc. for the $115-million credit union.
Previously the accounting assistant at American AC and Heating Company in San Antonio, Sharrock was responsible for collecting accounts receivables from customers and vendors, reconciling and paying accounts payables, calculating commissions, preparing and distributing checks, and processing customer payments.
Previously, Sharrock was the vice president of finance and compliance at First Choice Financial Federal Credit Union in Gloversville, N.Y. She was responsible for the financial operations of the credit union, which included the preparation and analysis of financial and statistical information, and she supervised the finance and compliance departments.
With over 12 years of accounting experience in the credit union industry, Sharrock will help Cooperative Teachers continue its mission to help members achieve their financial goals by offering comprehensive financial products and services. Sharrock is recognized in the industry for her proven management experience, strong analytical skills, and thorough understanding of National Credit Union Administration regulations, managing high growth, driving results, and leading successful teams, the CU said.
