Service CU Supports Plummer Endowment Fund

PORTSMOUTH, N.H.–Service Credit Union contributed $15,000 to the Dan and Renee Plummer Endowment Fund, which provides support to military members and veterans who are battling addiction.

“We’d like to express our sincere appreciation to Service Credit Union, a leader in corporate philanthropy that has supported military through their donations of time and money,” said Renee Plummer. “This particular donation provides a tremendous boost to our mission of supporting the needs of veterans when they need it the most. We thank Service Credit Union for its generous contribution to the endowment fund.”

The endowment fund was established to provide financial support, in perpetuity, for service members and veterans of all eras, to receive substance abuse treatment and recovery services through Easterseals N.H. programs. Treatment includes Easterseals alcohol and/or drug abuse services, along with Care Coordination through Easterseals Military & Veterans Services. The fund honors Renee and Dan Plummer of Portsmouth, N.H., for their service and support of Easterseals N.H.’s Military and Veterans Services and Veterans Count.

“Service Credit Union continues to look for ways to offer programs and services for those who sacrificed for our freedoms we enjoy today,” said David Van Rossum, President/CEO of Service Credit Union. “This donation will provide comprehensive substance abuse services to active military and veterans in need.”
