BALTIMORE—Securityplus Federal Credit Union partnered with community leaders and local organizations to support the Legacy in Motion: A Generational Wealth Activation event, an initiative aimed at expanding financial education and creating long-term economic opportunities for Baltimore families.
Held at Coppin State University's School of Business, the event brought together students, families and professionals for interactive sessions on homeownership, entrepreneurship, investing and building generational wealth. Securityplus representatives joined Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Joel Gamble of The Joel Gamble Foundation and other community partners to provide practical financial guidance and resources.
“At Securityplus, we believe financial education is one of the most powerful tools for building generational wealth,” said Al Gregory, chief lending officer at Securityplus Federal Credit Union. “Legacy In Motion provided an opportunity to bring together students, families, professionals, and community leaders to have meaningful conversations about homeownership, entrepreneurship, investing, and long-term financial success. We are proud to support initiatives that empower individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to create lasting financial legacies for future generations.”
Securityplus said the event reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening financial resilience through community partnerships and educational initiatives that help individuals and families build secure financial futures. The credit union said it will continue investing in programs that expand financial literacy and economic opportunity throughout the Baltimore community.
