SPIRE Wins Marketing Awards

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn.–SPIRE Credit Union has been recently honored by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development with four awards recognizing outstanding marketing achievements.

SPIRE received Diamond Awards in the following categories: Credit, Debit, and ATM Card Designs, Email, Financial Education, and Video Commercial. 

These include:

  • Diamond Award – Credit, Debit, and ATM Card Designs: St. Cloud Rox Debit Card: In the summer of 2021, SPIRE partnered with the St. Cloud Rox, a collegiate summer baseball team in St. Cloud, Minnesota. 2022 marked the Rox’ 11th season of Northwoods league baseball, and SPIRE’s first year of being the Official Checking Account of the St. Cloud Rox. When members open a St. Cloud Rox Checking Account, they receive a custom co-branded Rox debit card.
  • Diamond Award – Email: In 2022, SPIRE made changes to their Visa Credit card program and offered a $200 introductory bonus, and a special balance transfer rate. The emails sent to members over the duration of the campaign set new records for SPIRE.
  • Diamond Award – Financial Education: Financial Tips from SPIRE’s President & CEO: SPIRE partners with KSTP – TV and Twin Cities Live (TCL) to bring financial education on air. In 2022, SPIRE and TCL produced a series of 12 segments over twelve months. Each month, SPIRE President/CEO Dan Stoltz brought his wealth of financial knowledge to the show in the form of four-to-six-minute segments filled with relatable content, retainable acronyms, and realistic financial advice.
  • Diamond Award – Video Commercial: Gable Steveson is an Olympic gold medalist, two-time NCAA champion, and SPIRE member. In the summer of 2022, Steveson filmed five commercials with SPIRE, which were completely unscripted. In these commercials, he showcased the authentic qualities that make him a strong community leader, and a strong partner and member of SPIRE. To view the commercial visit SPIRE’s YouTube Channel.

Since 2013, SPIRE is honored to have received 32 Diamond Awards recognizing creative marketing efforts and results.
