MAPLE GROVE, Minn.– Employees at SPIRE Credit Union’s branch here recently began a partnership with the City of Maple Grove Parks and Recreation Board in which twice per year staff will help clean up different areas within the Parks and Recreation system.
Earlier this year, the SPIRE Maple Grove team brainstormed volunteering ideas. “We discussed how nice it would be to do something new to give back to our community, and the park cleanup project is something we came across after researching the parks and recreation website,” said Miriam Wells, SPIRE Regional Manager, “We are having a lot of fun getting together as a team to help keep our parks beautiful. We even ran into some SPIRE members as we were cleaning up the trail!”
