MORA, Minn.–SPIRE Credit Union was a sponsor for the Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall, which came to this area. The Moving Wall is a replica of the Washington Vietnam Veterans Memorial and has been touring the country since 1984.
The multiple-day celebration, coordinated by Mora American Legion Post #201, included events to honor all veterans, unveiling of the statue and a special ceremony for Vietnam era veterans.
“SPIRE is honored to carry on our long-standing support of the American Legion and their devotion to serving our members,” said Sara Engblom, SPIRE Mora Branch Manager, “We are thrilled that our local Legion club was able to add the community of Mora to the list of stops for The Moving Wall.”
