SPRINGFIELD, Ore.— SELCO Community Credit Union has once again been named one of “America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions” by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.
This is the third consecutive year that SELCO made the annual rankings—and second straight year with a perfect 5-star rating—which honors 500 regional banks and 500 credit unions across the United States that are “delivering exceptional community-focused service, strong financial performance, and trusted digital and in-branch experiences.”
SELCO was selected from a pool of more than 8,800 banks and credit unions. This year, the Springfield-based credit union was one of just eight Oregon-based credit unions to make the rankings, and one of only two Oregon financial institutions to earn a perfect 5-star rating.
“For nearly 90 years, SELCO has focused on doing what’s right for our members,” said Bob Newcomb, SELCO’s President and CEO. “Earning a 5-star rating from Newsweek for the second straight year—and being one of only two Oregon-based financial institutions to do so—speaks to the trust our members place in us and the commitment of our nearly 500 team members to serve them exceptionally well.”
