Royal Credit Union’s Grant Beardsley Appointed to Wisconsin Credit Union Review Board

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union's EVP- Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel, Grant Beardsley, has been appointed to the Wisconsin Credit Union Review Board (CURB) by Governor Tony Evers.  

CURB advises the Office of Credit Unions, reviews its decisions, conducts hearings, and helps guide policy and rulemaking that impact credit unions across the state. In doing so, it plays an important role in ensuring the strength and integrity of Wisconsin’s credit union system.  

“Grant’s appointment is a significant recognition of his leadership and expertise,” said Brandon Riechers, Royal President & CEO. “We are proud to see him take on this important role. His knowledge and judgment will benefit the Wisconsin Credit Union Review Board and support the advancement of Royal’s mission by creating a positive impact on credit unions across Wisconsin.” 

Beardsley joined Royal in 2019 and has served as EVP - Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel since 2022. In his role, he oversees risk management, compliance, regulatory programs, fraud prevention, mergers and acquisitions, advocacy, and legal affairs, ensuring Royal maintains strong governance and safeguards for its Members.
