WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. – Royal Credit Union has added to its retail leadership team.
Amy Burma and Laura Sorensen joined Royal in August.Burma was named Regional Director of Branch Operations and is based in Royal’s Stillwater office. In her new role, Burma is responsible for leading and supporting branch managers and their teams to achieve strategic goals by providing excellent products and services to meet the needs of Members and creating consistency and efficiencies through all channels. Burma has almost 20 years of experience in the financial industry, holding several different roles. In 2017, Burma was awarded the Finance and Commerce Top Women in Finance Award. Sorensen was named Branch Manager ll for Royal’s Hugo and White Bear Lake offices. Sorensen comes to Royal with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. In her new role, Sorensen oversees all functions of the branch operations and is responsible for providing a superior level of Member service through ongoing coaching, guiding and development of team members in both Hugo and White Bear Lake. Sorensen is excited to be a part of an organization that feels strongly about community involvement.
