EAU CLAIRE, Wis.– Seven non-profit organizations received a boost thanks to the generosity of Royal Credit Union members. In celebration of International Credit Union Day’s theme of People Helping People, donation jars were placed in each Royal Credit Union branch from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15. RCU members and team members had the opportunity to donate money as well as nominate a local non-profit organization to receive the funds collected. RCU matched the donations and over $1,100 was donated in seven different communities that Royal serves.
“We are glad that community members took advantage of this opportunity to support a cause that is important to them in their area.” said Holly Hermanson, Community Engagement Coordinator at Royal Credit Union.
