Royal CU Breaks Ground on Office

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union has broken ground on a new Eau Claire Downtown office. The new location will be a full-service Royal office with approximately 2,900 square feet of space and an easily accessible drive-up, ATM and parking lot, the CU said.

According to Royal, it will feature the latest technology and a lobby designed to enhance privacy and create a comfortable environment for members to ask questions and seek advice on their personal financial matters.

The office is planned to open in spring 2022.

“We are excited to break ground on our new Eau Claire Downtown office and to continue growing our roots in the Chippewa Valley,” said President/CEO Brandon Riechers. “Royal has a commitment to investing in the economic development of the communities we serve and was proud to build our headquarters in downtown Eau Claire in 2005. Since that time the area continues to flourish. Our new office will be an excellent addition to this thriving community and will allow us to continue our work as a trusted community partner and financial advisor for our members.”

The groundbreaking was hosted by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. Event speakers included Eau Claire City Council President, Terry Weld, Eau Claire County Board Chair, Nick Smiar as well as Royal executives and board members.
