EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union has broken ground for its new Altoona office. The new location will be a full-service Royal office with approximately 4,200 square feet of space and an easily accessible drive-up, ATM and parking lot. It will feature the latest technology and a lobby designed to enhance privacy and “create a comfortable environment for members to ask questions and seek advice on their personal financial matters,” RCU said.
The office is planned to open in spring 2022.
After completion, Royal said it will convert its current Eau Claire North Office on Birch Street to a mortgage operations center and relocate retail office operations to the new Altoona Office location. While the Birch Street location will centralize mortgage operations, Royal said it will continue to make it easy for its members by offering access to mortgage lenders in multiple offices and communities.
“We are committed to providing value to our Members by offering excellent service and highly competitive products,” said Brandon Riechers, president/CEO of Royal Credit Union. “This new office location will allow our Members to receive in-person services in a convenient, easily accessible location. While we have always been a close neighbor, we are thrilled to officially join the Altoona community and be a part of the continued growth of the River Prairie development.”
The groundbreaking was hosted by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. Event speakers included Altoona Mayor Brendan Pratt, Eau Claire County Board Chair Nick Smiar, as well as Royal executives and board members.
