OVERLAND PARK. Kans.— Rochdale has expanded its risk services and software development teams following the addition of two new people:
Rochdale has added David Seibert as a Strategy, Risk and Assurance Partner. Seibert brings a wealth of risk-related knowledge, a wide range of industry and corporate experience, and a strong contingent of existing credit union clients. In addition to David’s extensive time working alongside natural person credit unions and corporate credit unions, Seibert has tremendous experience working in ERM advisory, strategy, information security and cyber risk management outside the credit union space. Although he has spent the last several years consulting within the credit union industry as president, owner and chief risk officer at David Seibert Consulting, his broad and vast experience both within and outside the credit union space will help expand Rochdale’s risk and strategy solutions and enhance credit unions’ risk programs.
Seibert brings almost 25 years of risk management and information security to the Rochdale team. Many of his early years were spent working in various risk-focused information security roles such as his Senior Group Manager position with Target Corporation where he was leading Enterprise Information Risk Management, Incident Response/Computer Investigations/Digital Forensics, and Security Metrics and Reporting teams, and was part of Target’s Key Management Group (KMG). Since that time, Seibert has also served as Vice President Enterprise Risk Management and Strategy Execution and Chief Risk Officer at a $4 billion credit union, as well as on the Enterprise Risk Management Committee of a large corporate credit union.
“In addition to my expertise in enterprise risk management, cyber risk, and information security, I also have a passion for strategic planning and strategy execution.” Seibert said. “I’m excited for this opportunity to work with, help support and expand Rochdale’s enterprise risk management and strategic advisory services. Rochdale is a known industry expert in ERM and a perfect fit for how I desire to continue my career.”
Jason Shalton, Software Application Developer, joins the apogee iQ development team following 10 years in a fast-paced software development environment in which he was instrumental in building and enhancing software and online tools for a nationwide real estate appraisal management company. His experience working with one of the industry’s top technology leaders will be instrumental as Rochdale continues to invest in and expand the apogee iQ risk software suite.
Prior to his time in software development, Shalton spent many years in the U.S. and abroad teaching and leading students through guitar lessons, recitals and events.
