Robins Financial Taught Nearly 10,500 Students Financial Skills During School Year

MACON, Ga.—Robins Financial Credit Union delivered nearly 300 financial education classes during the 2025-26 school year, reaching almost 10,500 students across Middle Georgia as part of its ongoing effort to improve financial literacy among young people.

The credit union conducted 295 in-person classes covering budgeting, saving, responsible borrowing, credit awareness and financial goal setting. Robins Financial said the program is designed to give students the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions and build healthy money-management habits before entering adulthood.

“Financial education is one of the most powerful tools we can offer the next generation,” said April Mouton Beal, vice president of community engagement and marketing at Robins Financial. “We are proud to partner with local schools to create meaningful learning opportunities that equip young people with the skills and confidence to achieve their goals and build a brighter financial future.”

Among the credit union's education partners is the Bibb County School District. “Our partnership with Robins Financial Credit Union reflects our shared commitment to preparing students for success beyond the classroom,” said Dr. Cassandra Miller-Washington, executive director of CTAE and CEO of Hutchings College and Career Academy. “Together, we are building financially confident, responsible and future-ready graduates who are prepared for life after graduation.”
