LYNWOOD, Calif.—Rize Credit Union has officially opened its relocated Lynwood branch at Plaza Mexico, celebrating the new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by community members, local officials and credit union leaders.
The event featured live mariachi music and refreshments, while Mayor Pro-Tem Lorraine Avila Moore, Councilmember Rita Soto and other guests joined Rize officials in marking the opening. The branch is intended to expand access to financial services for residents in the Lynwood community.
"This new location reflects the importance of creating a space where people feel comfortable seeking guidance and building a stronger financial future," said Jennifer Oliver, president and CEO of Rize Credit Union. "Our goal is to be a resource that people can genuinely rely on."
The Plaza Mexico branch includes private consultation rooms, self-service kiosks for virtual banking assistance, a secure ATM and bilingual financial services. Rize said the office will also support financial literacy programs and community partnerships as part of its ongoing efforts to serve underserved and underbanked residents.
