ROANOKE, Va.–Member One FCU's Main Campus Administration building here received a complete renovation beginning in January 2014. During that time, many employees were relocated to a temporary, off-site building, “CBC” (Century Business Center) for about 16 months.
The CBC was furnished by Member One with cubicles, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, conference tables and much more.
In April 2015, employees began moving back into the newly remodeled administration building, leaving an abundance of unused office supplies and furniture.
Karen Lynch, Member One’s Building Project Manager contacted area school systems, churches and non-profit organizations in hopes of donating all of Member One’s unneeded supplies. More than 13 organizations responded, giving away a total of over $25,000 in goods.
