SANTA ROSA, Calif.--Redwood Credit Union (RCU) has hired Kathleen Parnell as vice president of Finance. In her new role, Ms. Parnell will manage Redwood Credit Union’s accounting and finance teams.
A graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Ms. Parnell has extensive experience in the financial services industry, including strategic planning, analysis, liquidity, and capital management at Morgan Stanley. She served as chief operating officer and co-treasurer at Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. and as treasurer at Morgan Stanley Private Bank, N.A. Most recently, she served as chief financial officer at First Federal Savings & Loan Association in San Rafael, California.
“Under Kathleen’s guidance, I expect the accounting and finance department to thrive as it supports the Credit Union’s vision and continued growth,” said Christina Cook, RCU’s executive vice president and chief financial officer.
