BISMARCK, N.D. – The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas (CUAD) said Red River Chapter of the Fargo, N.D. received the Chapter of the Year honor during the CUAD Annual Summit Awards Banquet that was recently held at the Delta Marriott Conference Center.
The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes one credit union chapter in North or South Dakota for its outstanding achievements in advocacy, communication, education, and community involvement.
The Red River Chapter was selected because they are truly committed to the credit union philosophy of people helping people. This is demonstrated by the scholarships they provide to important credit union events, their engagement with the Association, their activities that support the next generation of credit union leaders, and their commitment to supporting charitable causes in their community while raising awareness of credit unions.
CUAD awards are judged by out-of-state employees at the Illinois Credit Union League, the Nebraska Credit Union League, and the Minnesota Credit Union Network.
