HAMILTON, Mont.–A member of Ravalli County FCU has won $1,000 through the credit union's participation in the WINcentive Savings Program.
Members with participating savings accounts are entered into monthly, quarterly and annual prize drawings each time they increase their savings balance by $25. Members can earn up to four entries per month for a chance to win a $5,000 grand prize drawing annually, as well as $100 monthly and $1,000 quarterly prize drawings.
“I loved the idea of winning some extra money and even if I didn’t win, I still had all of my savings at the end. Knowing I couldn’t touch it was also a good motivator to save,” said winner of the quarterly WINcentive prize. “I love that I won right before Christmas! I like to travel, so I’m going to put some towards my travel fund and then give back to my church and community.”
The credit union has been offering WINcentive accounts for just over a year and has given away a total of $1,600. Ravalli County FCU is also implementing a special in-house drawing beginning in January 2020 that will offer another drawing to guarantee a RCFCU member wins $100 each time a monthly drawing occurs.
