WALTHAM, Mass.--Milagros Zayas, RTN Federal Credit Union Vice President of Retail Branches, has received the Professional of the Year Award from the 2022 Cooperative Credit Union Association’s (CCUA) Awards of Excellence.
The award winners were recognized at the awards luncheon on October 13 during the CCUA’s APEX event, which took place October 12-14 at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Uncasville, CT.
During her forty-one years of service at RTN, Millie has reimagined RTN’s branch network, mentored dozens of co-workers, established the business development department, helped scores of members become homeowners, while making an impact as a cultural trailblazer.
“Throughout her career, Millie has always focused on giving members the best experience, supported her co-workers to create a stronger workplace, while helping individuals and supporting organizations in the community who may be less fortunate,” said Richard Wright, RTN CEO and Treasurer. “Her efforts over the years truly embody the credit union spirit of serving members and community.”
