WALTHAM, Mass.— Elizabeth Centofanti, Retirement Financial Services Supervisor at RTN Federal Credit Union, has been selected as a 2017 Credit Union Rising Star by the Cooperative Credit Union Association. The award recognizes the up and coming stars of the credit union industry in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Centofanti is one of 12 credit union employees who will be honored at Rising Stars Breakfast at the 2017 Great New England Credit Union Show on April 27 in Boxborough.
After joining the RTN staff in 2011 as part of the Checking Department, Centofanti moved to the IRA Department and then was promoted to her current position as Retirement Financial Services Supervisor in April 2016.
“I really like being able to work in the same city I grew up in, and be a professional at the Credit Union where my siblings and I all had our first savings accounts,” says Centofanti. “Even as RTN grows, we are still here to serve Waltham families and I love the local connections.” In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities at RTN, Centofanti is active in community activities, including RTN’s annual 5K Walk Home fundraiser. She also participates in several RAW (Race Around Waltham) races and events. Centofanti has a BS from Northeastern University, and is completing an MBA at Boston College in May.
