WALTHAM, Mass.– RTN Federal Credit Union hosted a Business Networking Event at LeLacheur Park, the home field of the Lowell Spinners. RTN brought together representatives of its select employer groups (SEGs) and business partners for an evening of networking, barbecue, and baseball fun, with the Spinners playing the Staten Island Yankees.
Attendees included representatives from Enterprise, GraVoc, Nova Biomedical, Osram/Ledvance, Raytheon, United Electric, RTN Financial and Retirement Group, and RTN Realty Advisors.
Dan Vassallo, an employee at RTN SEG GraVoc, threw out the first pitch. Vassallo also recently finished 10th in the 2018 Boston Marathon.
As a long-time corporate sponsor of the Spinners, the event is the first of several events RTN said it has planned this summer with the Boston Red Sox minor league affiliate.
On July 26, RTN will host Kids Night for children from the Lawrence CommunityWorks after-school program, Movement City. On August 23, the credit union will sponsor a second “Kids Take the Field Night” for nine children of members selected through a drawing at RTN branches. The winners will have the chance to obtain player autographs, have their photos taken with the team in the dugout, accompany the players on the field at the start of the game, and enjoy the thrill of the game with two additional family members or friends.
