WALTHAM, Mass.– RTN Credit Union, its members and staff collected and donated an estimated total of 70 blankets through its participation in the Massachusetts Cooperative Credit Union Association’s annual Blanket Drive at RTN branches. The donation included 50 blankets for infants and children that were knitted by Blankets for Kids volunteers from the Amesbury Senior Community Center.
“We’re proud that RTN and credit unions throughout Massachusetts participate in the CCUA’s annual blanket drive to help those in need stay warm, particularly during the winter months,” says Milagros Zayas, RTN vice president of retail branches.
Community involvement is a core value of RTN as a credit union. RTN supports local community projects and initiatives, and works collaboratively with members, sponsor groups, and surrounding communities through financial support and volunteer participation.
