WALTHAM, Mass.— The RTN Employees Community Outreach Committee is bringing holiday cheer to families in local communities near RTN branches.
In Waltham, RTN adopted eight Waltham children, working with the organization Healthy Waltham to support Africano Waltham, a local program that supports young children of African immigrants. RTN employees provided gifts that were on the Wish Lists of the children, ages 8 to 11. There are approximately 50 youth enrolled in the Program, with kids ranging in age from four years old to teenagers.
In the Merrimack Valley area, RTN branch managers made a $350 donation to the Wish Project to help those who are setting up apartments after homelessness and to provide food and clothing to those in need.
RTN’s Employees Community Outreach is made up of RTN employees who contribute funds and volunteer to assist local organizations and charities. RTN is proud to support organizations in local communities throughout the year and is particularly active during the holiday season to help make sure those in need enjoy the joys of the season.
