NEW RICHMOND, Wis. – Royal Credit Union and The Salvation Army partnered again to present the Giving Never Melts Away Toy Drive during November.
With the safety of its communities in mind, the annual toy drive changed from a toy drop off to an online fundraiser. New this year, Royal offered a $10,000 match and the Royal Young Professionals group offered a $500 match. Through the generous giving of all of those who have participated, a grand total of $18,570 was raised, the credit union said, giving The Salvation Army a chance to purchase gifts for children and teenagers that otherwise wouldn’t receive any and bring smiles to so many faces.
“Royal values making a difference in the communities it serves, and knows its Members appreciate the opportunity to help their neighbors,” said Sarah Jaeger, community engagement coordinator. “We are grateful for everyone who donated and made a difference in the lives of those in their communities. This tradition is one that makes Royal and its Members proud and one that will continue for years to come.”
