The credit union said it set out to make holiday wishes come true for its members and the local community by sending out a survey asking, what are your holiday wishes? And if you could choose a gift for someone in need, what would you give?

Public Service Credit Union invited members young and old to attend its Project Giveback event, now in its fourth year.  First responders from the Huntington County police and fire departments, local nurses, and representatives from local charities including Birthday Bags and Harmony House were also invited.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, and some special elves were on hand to help grant holiday wishes and make some Christmas miracles come true, the credit union said.

“Every year we have hundreds of people in our community come in to get their gifts,” said Manager Robbie Boswell. “It takes months of planning, decorating, gift wrapping and more. We couldn’t do it without the dedication of our entire staff. The event is indescribable. Getting to see everyone, especially the kids, get so excited… there’s no feeling that replaces that.”
