PORTLAND, Ore.—Providence Federal Credit Union announced that two of its service centers will now offer Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) for members.
The new ITMs are now available at both its Providence Portland Medical Center and its Milwaukie Office. ITMs allow members to conduct transactions remotely with a teller through a video screen.
"We’re always looking for ways to provide our members premier financial service and a personal banking experience. The new ITMs deliver both,” said Providence FCU President and CEO Shirley Cate. “Technology has come a long way in making banking transactions faster and more convenient, but often lack that human touch. The new ITMs make the experience more personal."
In addition to the new ITM, Providence Portland Medical Center will also include an Interactive Service Space. The private space will allow members to interact directly via video conference with a Member Service Representative on services such as opening new lines of credit, opening checking and savings accounts, and managing account settings. The Interactive Service Space brings the credit union branch experience to the member without requiring a full footprint of a traditional branch.
