Polish & Slavic FCU Distributes Paczki

BROOKLYN, N.Y.–On Fat Tuesday Polish & Slavic observed the tradition of eating Polish donuts (pączki) at its branches.

The credit union’s members ate more than 4,000 pączki (donuts) during the day at its 19 branches in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.

“For several years the traditional delicacies have been awaiting PSFCU members visiting our locations that day, and everyone is able to treat themselves to one or two,” the credit union said.

The treats came from local Polish pastry shops and were prepared according to traditional recipes.
