Piedmont Advantage Named Fastest-Growing in North Carolina

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.–The $300-million Piedmont Advantage CU has been recognized by Business North Carolina magazine as the fastest growing credit union in North Carolina in 2014. Piedmont Advantage jumped five spots to round out the Top 40 in the Financial 100 of North Carolina’s largest banks and credit unions. It also ranked 9th in the category of Fastest Growth in Assets.  “2014’s new economy, along with Piedmont Advantage’s unveiling of a new ‘member experience’ model made for a monumental year of growth in deposits and loans,” said CEO Judy Tharp. “Over 11,000 new memberships were opened, through both organic means and through other credit unions’ members joining through merger and spinoff.”
