WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.–In support of the communities in which it serves and its youth membership, Piedmont Advantage Credit Union rewarded five high school seniors $1,000 scholarships during its 67th Annual Meeting.
The Members Come First Scholarship provides scholarship funds to high school seniors for the pursuit of higher education at a college or university. It was established to recognize outstanding full-time students, who are members of the CU.
This year, a record number of applications were received. Winners were judged on their academic performance, extracurricular activities, and an essay.
