PENSACOLA, Fla. – Pen Air Federal Credit Union has named Derrick Aguilar Senior Vice Presentient, Chief Experience Officer.
Aguilar joins Pen Air with over 20 years of experience. During his tenure at Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU), he built an impressive resume ranging in responsibilities from cultivating the member experience, retail banking, and overseeing the Virtual Branch. Aguilar played a key role in supporting SSFCU’s expansion efforts through mergers and acquisition projects by contributing to the operational integration of several acquired credit unions within new markets. Aguilar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business as well as a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. “Pen Air has a rich history of enhancing members’ lives, delivering a world class employee experience, and uplifting the communities it serves,” says Aguilar.
