Pen Air FCU Opens New Branch, Plus 3 Student Branches

PENSACOLA, Fla.–Pen Air Federal Credit Union has opened its sixteenth full-service branch for the credit union, along with three student-run credit unions at local high schools.

The flagship branch is set to be a full-service location, featuring the latest in banking technology with Pen Air LIVE (Live Interactive Video Experience) teller machines in the drive thru lanes, free-standing teller pod stations with state of the art equipment to serve members’ transactional needs, member advising offices to serve all other financial needs, Wi-Fi throughout the building, and innovative digital signage to help educate its members on their financial fitness, the credit union said.

“We are planting roots on Airport Boulevard to enhance the lives of new and existing members who live and work in this area,” said Stu Ramsey, president and CEO of Pen Air. “This flagship location is another way we are providing better banking options for our community, and Pen Air is excited to open our doors today.”

With an open and inviting concept, the lobby is designed with brightly branded colors, warm woods and textures, along with state of the art fixtures to create a welcoming ambiance. Members will enjoy the comfortable lounge area that includes a beverage center. The building was designed with social responsibility in mind, to be energy efficient and include LED lighting.

This location houses 40 employees to include the following departments: Branch Member Advisors, Asset Management, Mortgage Lending, Consumer Lending, Indirect Lending, and Business Lending. The growth plans increase this location to house more than 50 employees within the next five years.
