PENSACOLA, Fla.–Pen Air Federal Credit Union has opened a new branch at 220 W Garden Street here, its 15thfull-service branch.
To better serve its members, Pen Air made the decision to consolidate the former Palafox and Gregory locations into what will be known as the Garden Street location inside the Studer Community Institute, the credit union said.
“This has been a long-awaited enhancement of our service in the downtown Pensacola locale, and we are looking forward to serving our members in much more convenient ways,” said Stu Ramsey, president/CEO of Pen Air. “This new location will enable us to provide the exceptional service our members deserve through top-notch technology, longer hours and better access to the lobby and drive-thru lanes.”
The branch is approximately 3,800 square feet of space, featuring the latest in banking technology with Pen Air LIVE (Live Interactive Video Experience) teller machines in the remote drive thru lanes, free-standing teller pod stations with state of the art equipment to serve members’ transactional needs and member advising offices to service all other financial needs for its members.
“With an open and inviting concept, the lobby is designed with brightly branded colors, warm woods and textures, along with modern fixtures to create a welcoming ambiance,” the credit union said. “Members will enjoy the comfortable lounge area that includes a beverage center. The building was designed with social responsibility in mind, to be energy efficient and include LED lighting.”
The location will house 11 employees.
