PENSACOLA, Fla.– Pen Air Credit Union has named Christopher Funk Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer.
Funk is an experienced executive with over 20 years of industry knowledge focused in commercial and indirect lending. He joins Pen Air from Beach Bank, where he served as SVP & Senior Lender for Northwest Florida. As Chief Lending Officer, he will direct and monitor operations across the credit union with respect to Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial Lending. Funk possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a graduate of the ABA/Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.Beyond his professional accomplishments, Funk has helped shape the communities he serves by actively participating in various charitable organizations. He currently serves on the campaign committee for the United Way of the Emerald Coast, as a director of Florida’s Great Northwest, and through the Destin Chamber of Commerce’s Destin Forward leadership program.
