LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Peach State FCU staff gathered for training and a combined effort to provide a service to their community, with more than 100 staff members packed 1,000 bags of food for children from local elementary schools who benefit from “Nothing But the Truth” based in Lawrenceville.
The effort will provide weekend meals and snacks for the 475 children that the organization serves. The bags of food will be sent to 26 Title One schools in Gwinnett and Barrow counties where guidance counselors identify students who may not have anything to eat over the weekend.
