Peach State Donates To Norcross Cooperative Ministry

NORCROSS, Ga. – Peach State FCU continued its quarterly donation of food to the Norcross Cooperative Ministry (NCM). NCM is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides assistance to families in Norcross and surrounding communities.

Each quarter, non-perishable food items are donated by members and employees at Peach State. “As a not-for-profit organization, we recognize the importance of giving back to our community. Our members are the backbone of the credit union and we believe it is our responsibility to do good work on their behalf. These quarterly donations are a part of that good work,” said Peach State President/CEO, Marshall Boutwell.

NCM also provides employment workshops, budgeting guidance and other seasonal support including school supplies and Christmas assistance. “Even though we are fortunate to receive support from many local churches and businesses, we frequently reach capacity before we even open our doors,” said John Byerley, Executive Director for NCM. “Donations of any size, including this donation from Peach State can make a big difference for a family in need and help us achieve our goal of transforming the lives of the people we help.”
